Mother Necessity

I’m rather fond of Mother Necessity’s ancient Greek names – Ananke or Adrastea. Many of know her as the Mother of Invention, but this is a shallow understanding of this Divine Ancestor. She is the impulse within that nudges (or dropkicks) us to keep moving. Sometimes her voice is instinct, sometimes intuition, sometimes as a feeling you can’t really describe, but her messages never come as simply as coming in words. Seek out Mother Necessity’s counsel and your life will reap great benefits. Ignore her warnings and you may find that your life has taken a turn that leaves you in need.
